This simple halter-top two-piece bathing suit with skirt is from The Complete Guide to Modern Knitting and Crocheting, published in 1942.

She looks happy but my aunt cites her knitted bathing suit as the reason she never learnt to swim!

Unless otherwise stated (by the garment designer) of the free pattern, I can see no reason that would stop you from selling anything you have actually made from a free pattern listed here, just check with the original source first!
