Hi, My mom knitted this clown for me to play with. It's funny cause I'm born in 1975 and I can remember asking for it so I must have been 7 or 8. The pattern must have been reprinted because my mom has no 1960's patterns. The clown no longer exists (too much hugs) but your post reminded me of young times. I find your blog very great and very interesting. Thank you for your posts
