i knit this scarf when in primary 5. this is 9-10 years old. i abslutely loved knitting it in pale pink. that would have been about 1968. i dont even know a child that can knit or who even has knitting needles, so sad. i hope to knit this scarf this winter. it is really lovely. thank you for the pattern.
Hello! Your more than welcome!! I know what you mean it is sad that there are children who have never been shown the joys of knitting! If you do knit one I would love to see it! x
This is for sure my first knitted item - my Big Sister taught me when I was about 13-14 years old! I am so happy to see it here!!
I wish it hadn't disappeared so I could still have it - see it, touch it, wear it.
My first sewing item was a gingham apron with chicken scratch embroidery - and all done by hand - when I was in elementary school. They put it up on the wall for all to see! I used it as an adult when having company for dinner - and wore it when I did a show in an off-off Broadway show back in 1995.
This is an ongoing project and I welcome any help or suggestions that you can give, so please feel free to leave a comment or a suggestion for a pattern link, all help will always be credited and very much appreciated :-) Spam will be deleted!
