Love this simple sweater, have had this pattern saved for a while but not yet plucked up the courage to try it! I think it'd take me a lot longer than 3 hours though!
Hello Wendy, am about to try this project and was just reading over the pattern. Are the instructions for the sleeves correct? You start off by only casting on 4 stitches? The sleeves sound like they would be very very skinny and the opening rather impossible to get in through.

Yes. This is the Liar Sweater. I am a fast-ish knitter and I probably took 10 hours to make it... It turned out wonderfully and I wear it often, but it's not three hours.

ReplyDeleteHello Mio, You are knitting the sleeve from the top down so you gradually increase as you work down the arm, I hope this helps!

ReplyDeleteHi Anna, I am not 100 sure, it says a size 16 but it looks to me like it would best fit a size UK 10/12, if that helps!
DeleteNeedle 10 mm ?? Isn,t that BIG ? I googeled the wool used and the label says needle 3 and 3,5...so i am a bit puzzeled
