  2. I have about 8 strips of this pattern I started knitting in 1971. I lost the directions for the pattern given to me by my husband’s grandmother how can I get these directions?

  3. Oh gosh!! My great-grandmother, who taught me to knit many, many years ago, made this afghan. I still have it, it is a little stiff from age & needs some mending.
    After I picked up knitting again, in my 30's, my mom found the pattern written on a 3x5 card. I began to knit it, so so so easy!! I made about 4 stripes and lost the card! I have searched high & low and to my amazement, here it is!!
    Thanks again for returning this great pattern which connects me to my marvelous "Big Grandma", who did her very best to make me ladylike. Her contributions of cooking, needlework, knitting & gardening will live on!! My sons have actually shown interest in knitting and my uncle will be so very happy when I finish repairing his afghan (made by her) and I'll make him a new one!!
