A Simple Jumper
December 1935 Edition of Good Needlework34-36" Bust
Knitted in a simple stripe design with smart lines, this is great for a beginner, as it is entirely worked in knit and pearl stitches. The original is for a 35" bust, but because the pattern repeat is only over 6 stitches, its an easy one to size up.

Pattern kindly shared by the lovely Lucy from 1940's Style For You

Hello Wendy, I would like the 1930s pattern for a "Simple jumper from the december 1935 edition of Good needlework" but the link does not seem to lead to the pattern (posted on 14 may 2015) . Can you help?
ReplyDeleteHello Wendy, I received a copy from 1943 Needlework nr 173 for which I thank you. But it was not the one I meant. The one I meant was from a 1935 edition (6 dec 1935) of "Good needlework and knitting", "a Simple jumper". The link on your page (which was dated at thursday 14 may, 2015) should lead to a "1940's Style For You" page but it does not work. Can you help?
